ClearTechInfo.com is dedicated to helping beginners succeed with Computers and Technology. ClearTechInfo.com will accomplish this by simplifying computers and technology for the average person on the street who is not a computer nerd.

Joey’s Bio
My name is Joey and I am the creator and administrator of ClearTechInfo.com. Ever since I started my first job in the computer industry (well, it was just a computer retail store, haha) I really enjoyed teaching people about computers and technology. Since then I’ve worked for a large online retailer, an Internet Service Provider and a major computer hardware manufacturer. When I worked for the hardware manufacturer a very important part of my job which I loved to do was train groups of people about computers and technology. At the same time in my personal life I was addicted to posting on message forums. I would enjoy helping people on those forums do simple computer tasks and even went so far as creating computer screen captures, annotating them with instructions of what to do and posting them online as images for everyone to see. At about this time the basic structure for ClearTechInfo.com was born, but only as a thought.

Birth of ClearTechInfo.com
Fast forward several years to 2006. I had become very good at teaching people who knew nothing about computers or technology about computers and technology in a very simplistic manner. I moved on to another job as an on-site computer and networkingⁱ technician, which I love. I had learned HTML, image editing and produced a couple of cheap websites but now I had more time to learn about building quality sites. I read and read and started to write down how I wanted my technology teacher site to be structured and function. In 2007 I spent a couple of days searching for a good name for my site that was not already taken. This was one of the hardest and most frustrating parts since it seemed that almost everything I can think was taken, until I found an untouched name that was easy to remember and gives an explanation of what the site encompassed, “ClearTechInfo.com”. In early 2008 I started the building process with the help of talented designers and coders who helped put my thoughts, writings and sketches into the website you see now. And the rest is history…
