How-To Get Less Lag & Higher Frame Rates while running PC Games with Game Booster

I have been helping avid PC gamers on ClearTechInfo with computer gaming related problems for a few years now. I noticed there are a lot people I help that barely meet or are just under the minimum system requirements of the computer game they just bought. The PCs that barely meet the minimum system requirements of a game or fall slightly
below tend to run the game with lag, sometimes lots of it. So I searched the neti for tweaks or any type of free mods they can perform on their PC to speed up games. After searching for a while the best thing I have found to speed up PC games on slow computers is Game Booster.
At first I was weary of a free app that claims to decrease lag and increase frames per second when running PC games. I wanted to test Game Booster out before I started recommending it to anyone. My PC would not be a good test system since it already is a fast gaming PC. I decided to use both of my nephew’s gaming computers as guinea pigs, which play modern computer games very sluggishly. I was very surprised that Game Booster smoothed out the lag and increased frame rates on the latest Call of Duty game they were playing. It also helped one of my nephews play The Sims 3 on high graphics settings without any problems, something he could not do before. Since then I have been recommending that the ClearTechInfo site members use Game Booster to optimize their PCs for gaming.
I want to point out what type of PCs would benefit the most from using Game Booster. Computers that barely meet the bare minimum requirements on the back of the game box would benefit. Computers that SLIGHTLY fall short in the Processor, RAM (aka system “memory”) or Graphics Card category would benefit. If your PC can already run your favorite PC game perfectly at low graphics settings but lags at any higher setting then Game Booster might help.
Game Booster will NOT help computers that fail miserably to meet the minimum system requirements of the game that is giving them problems. It will also NOT help Netbooks or Tablets run modern games.
PLEASE NOTE: A few people reported to me that Game Booster automatically switches back to Normal Mode as soon as they launch their PC game. I read on the Game Booster help forums that this problem is being looked at and hopefully it will be fixed with the next version soon. Until then there are 2 fixes that you could perform to solve the issue.
Fix #1 – Go into Game Booster’s Configuration settings. See if there are any processes or apps that are associated with your game. Example: If you are playing Star Wars: The Old Republic look for anything related to Star Wars, BioWare and Electronic Arts (the last 2 are the companies that produced the game). Then make sure that all of them are Unchecked. Apply / Save the new settings then launch Game Booster. Run your game last.
* If Fix #1 does not work proceed to #2.
Fix #2 – Run your PC game 1st. Once your game is fully loaded, minimize the game. You can do this by pressing the Windows “Start” key on your keyboard. Run Game Booster then click your game icon that is resting on your taskbar. Game Booster should work now.

re: Vopla
Hi Vopla. Try uninstalling game booster. Then restart your PC. After the restart turn Off / Close any anti-virus and security software you have. Then download it again and install.
Sometimes our anti-virus and security programs mess with program installs.
It just says that "An error
It just says that "An error occured in the application", when I'm trying to just launch GameBooster. Also there are options of sending bug report, saving and showing. Plus restarting and closing. If I try to restart application, it just shows the same error.
re: Vopla
Hi Vopla. I use the Logitech G930 wireless headset and mic. Since I bought it I have not been in a guild or clan so I never used the mic. So far it has worked great with my headset.
When does it suddenly stop working? Does it stop working as soon as you run your game? What is the exact error message it gives you?
It's not working well
I've downloaded that program, first it worked fine, but then it suddenly stopped working and gives me an error. P.s What mic/headset do you use?
