When you own a computer or are the main administrator of a computer it is important that you know how to manage user accounts. You need to know how to create new user accounts, set user password, change account status from a Standard User to an Administrator and vice-versa, as well as other Windows 7 user account settings you need to know how to change.

When managing users it is vital that you know all Administrator user accounts have free reign on your computer. They can change, delete, install and do almost anything. In contrast the Windows 7 “Standard User” account is limited. Standard users have full access to the Interneti and any program that is already installed on your computer. I recommend setting all accounts on your computer to Standard User status (with the exception of yours of course) unless you fully trust that the user will not cause havoc on your computer.
