View Saved Passwords

Firefox allows you to save your passwords for most websites. So every time you return to your favorite websites you do not need to reenter

your username and password. When your password is entered on any website login it automatically is encrypted so nobody who is looking over your shoulder can view it. What you might not know is that you can easily view your stored usernames and passwords for any site that you have saved within Firefox.

I remember using this feature since Firefox 3i.0.0 and of course it still applies to Firefox 3.5.x. If you are like me you have a lot of passwords to many different sites. You write all of them down or save them to a file. But sometimes you forget to save a password you recently created. Then weeks, months or even a year goes by and your forget the password and possibly even the username you used. By following the video tutorial below you will be able to retrieve your forgotten username and password within seconds.

NOTE: I did not create this video tutorial with the intention of teaching you how to hack/steal peoples’ usernames and passwords. At the same time you must be aware that if you save your usernames and passwords within Firefox someone can easily steal that information from you.

In the following How-To View Your Saved Website Usernames and Passwords Firefox video tutorial I will take you step-by-step and you will easily learn the following…
1. How-To view your saved website Usernames / Logins

Saved Passwords

Just taking a moment to say thank you for an excellent tutorial on where passwords are saved on Firefox. The task of removing passwords from a computer was assigned to me when an employee was leaving our firm and did not want his stored passwords "left behind". You were a great help!
