Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 Kills NOD32 AntiVirus v4

*** UPDATED 06/05/09 ***
Virus/Malware/Spyware/Adware scanning and removal from computers and USB drives is something I do at work almost every day. I use two programs to do this, Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (free version) and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009. I love the combination, it is very effective.
I am always looking to improve any aspect of my knowledge and advance myself in any way. Some techs that I consider to know as much or more than me swear by Eset’s NOD32 AntiVirus. I had my boss purchase it for a workstation (P4, 2 GB RAM, XP) of mine recently to add it to my arsenal. I adjusted the detection settings on NOD32 to the max.
Today I scanned a laptop hard drive (I removed it and placed it in an external USB enclosure) with Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, no malware detected. I scanned it with NOD32 AntiVirus v4, 1 virus detected. I then scanned it with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009, 501 viruses detected. No it is not a typo, 501 detected. I created a screen capture because I know a lot of people would not believe me. Click the image below to get a larger one.
There is no doubt Kaspersky Anti-Virus obliterated NOD32 AntiVirus in this competition. I will no doubt recommend Kaspersky Anti-Virus to anyone who asks the popular question, “What is the best anti-virus software?”
Are there any arguments against this verdict? The only one I could possibly think of is that I had performed the same competition with a few hard drives the past couple of weeks and they both had the same detection and removal rate (except for 1 hard drive which had a virus nod32 could not remove but Kaspersky did).
* (06/05/09) I just scanned another hard drive that I removed from a computer. A coworker told me it MIGHT contain a virus. I scanned it with Nod32 v4 and Nod32 said it was clean, no viruses detected. I scanned the same hard drive using Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and Kaspersky detected and cleaned 3 viruses.

You are welcome Eve. Thanks for the feedback. :-)
Thanks for the offer Mike.
Thanks for the offer Mike. The software will definitely get tested on my workstation. I scan many hard drives each week.
I sent you an email.
I think I need that!
There is something up with my PC, but it is probably more likely that it is too many plugins and files! I have been researching antivirus programs for a while, thanks for this!
