Learn FastStone Image Viewer Beginner Basics, How-To Guide

FastStone Image Viewer is a cool, little image utility. As it’s name suggests it is an image viewer (an excellent I might add) and with a few photo editing features. It is “freeware” so that means it is 100% free and will not lock you out in the future, asking you to pay any money (but you can make a donation to the company out of your kind heart).
The basic image viewer that is built into Windows 7, Vista and XP is very basic with limited options. It also only reads a few image formats. In contrast FastStone is an advanced image viewer that has a few built-in photo editing options like cropping, resizing and red-eye removal. It can also almost any image format on the Interneti, including Adobe Photoshop. It can also change the format of an image to another one (ex: change my photos in .tiff format to .jpg format).
