Learn How-To Test Adobe Flash, Shockwave, Acrobat and Java Plug-ins/Readers
Adobe Flash, Shockwave, Acrobat and Sun Microsystems Java plug-ins/players are among the most popular plug-ins/players on the Interneti today. You will eventually run across a website or media file that requires the plug-ins/viewers to be installed before you can access the content.
In my previous tutorials I have showed you how to find, download and install each one. Some people have reported to me that the plug-ins or players were not downloaded or installed properly after following my tutorials. Upon further investigation it appears that the plug-ins/players were in fact successfully downloaded and installed. The error was really the lack of feedback from the plug-ins/players at the end of the installation. Some of them do not give any type of confirmation message informing you everything was installed correctly or they actually leave you with an error message in the end despite a successful install. I created this tutorial for everybody to use AFTER they have downloaded and installed the plug-ins or readers of their choice.
The following Plug-in and Reader video tutorial will guide you through the following steps…
1. Test Adobe Acrobat Reader (“pdf”) software using the following link:

2. Test the Adobe Shockwave and Flash Players using the following link:

Adobe results....
Joey,
I wish you were here to literaly walk me through these steps. I clicked the new link and same thing happened, only now it's not only giving me the error message, then Internet Explorer suddenly stops working, then restarts-kicking me out of this page (or whatever page I'm on). I had to log back in. I don't know what to do? I tried unistalling it a few minutes ago and I can't? It says something about the wrong path....I'm about to throw my once favorite pink laptop out the &%*^%#! window. Can you think of anything to help? I can't uninstall and can't install...I'm stuck and Adobe "support" isn't as understanding as you. They don't understand what I'm saying(I'm glad u do!) which I understand, but nevertheless, I need help! What do I do??? Please reply when you can, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Jess~

RE: ADOBE TEST
I was testing Adobe Shockwave, Flash, and when I tried to test my Adobe Reader 9 everything went downhill. I got it downloaded and installed, but when I tested it a error box pops up with a big red X with the words "Internal Error Occurred". The only option I have is to click "ok". How do I fix this? I'm kinda scared with an "internal error". Can you help? I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks!
Jess~
