Okay I just bought a new computer and wanted to upgrade my integrated graphics card to utilize full graphics capabilities in my gameplay. I purchased a PNY nvidia VERTO GeForce GT 240 [512mb GDDR5], which the guy at the store said should run The Sims 3 with no problems. Anyway, it's installed and set as the primary graphics card but when I run The Sims 3 it says "Unable to start game, no supported video card detected check your hardware." I know that my power supply is 300w but my graphics card requires 350w...would this alone cause The Sims 3 not to run or is this graphics card simply not supported? Here are my system specs as well:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 dual-core processor 235e (2.7GHz)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Graphics: nvidia GeForce 6150 SE
Memory: 6 GB DDR2 dual-channel
(The Sims 3 did run using this integrated graphics but the settings in the game had to be turned all the way down and still runs sluggish during peak parts in the game)

If I need a different graphics card what would you recommend that's in the $75-$150 price range and of decent quality.
