Author Topic: Adobe Flash Player Download Problem  (Read 279 times)

I recently purchased a new laptop, its running Windows 7 64bit. I installed MSN Messenger, as I talk to my Fiance through it, and we at times play the messenger games. Well, since purchasing this laptop, I have not been able to load the games at all. I have sought some advice on this issue, and they advice me that I should check to see if I had Adobe Flash Player installed. Upon checking, I have found that it is not installed.
So I go to the Adobe site and try to download the current version (Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.55). Every time I click the download button, the page starts to run, then stops.
I turned off my virus program, and my firewall. This had no effect at all. I have tried so many things, I am forgetting what they are, so that I can tell you what I have done.

I do hope you can help me resolve this issue, as I am getting very frustrated.

Hi Leonie. Here is a workaround for the issue.

- Download / Install the "Chrome" browser made by Google: http://www.google.com.tw/chrome?hl=en-GB

The Google Chrome browser comes with Adobe Flash already installed and it updates Flash for you automatically.
