At present Clear Tech Info is very slow to load at first and also connecting between posts. I`m not experiencing that on anything else. Smiley

Thanks Terrace, I will check it out.

Sometimes when the website it being automatically backed up (happens 2x a day) the site will slow down for a while. Maybe that might be the case for the slowness?

hi terrace,
it seems fine at my end at the moment, which is strange because i have a corroded port at the exchange and is usually very slow (same internet service provider).
you might have lots of internet traffic in your area that is slowing down the connection from the exchange/tower

The server I am on was probably just backing up automatically. It seems fine now but 2x a day this website will run really slow due to automated backups running in the background.

It`s still very slow connecting at first and connecting to a post this morning. It`s usually quite fast. Smiley

Still very much slower for past two days. Getting "Connection timed out" a lot. Maybe this end. All other sites connect fast. Also is the black patch in my screenshot top left usual? Smiley

Hi Terrace. To test my website speed or if it is down for anyone else or just me I use website speed tests. Here are a couple below…

http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/

http://gtmetrix.com/

I put the black bar striking across my logo in support of a proposed US law that is/was scheduled to be voted on next week. If the law is passed then a lot of US websites can be in jeopardy. If a random person from the Internet makes a post on these forums about anything illegal and I don’t get to the post in time to delete it, my US government would have the right to immediately shut down this site. It doesn’t matter if it was some kid from another country that made the post with illegal info, I would get blamed because it was on my site. I would have to hire lawyers and go to court to get my site back up. I don’t have the money to hire lawyers so in the above scenario my site would never come back online.

Site operating quite good today. May have been heavy traffic. Grin

I turned off a background website app today. It helps keep my site running by backing it up multiple times a day. I thought it was only 2x a day but it might have been more than that. Glad it solved the problem  Smiley
