So, I own a pair of wireless Element Electronics EWOS1 surround sound speakers (Which are now discontinued..). Anyway, the speakers use a wireless transmitter which is plugged into the TV. Our cat chewed through and severed the wire between the transmitter and the TV. The wire is permanent, so it cannot be replaced. Is there some kind of universal wireless transmitter that we could plug into the TV and have send the correct signals to our speakers? Or are they now totally useless? Thanks for your help.

Do you still have the damaged, severed wire and all the other pieces? If so you can have someone that is good with electrical wires salvage the severed wire. He/she can cut off the bad parts and sauter or somehow refuse the remaining good wire together and hold it in place with electrical tape. It will be a little shorter afterwards (Example: If the wire was 5 inches before it will probably be only 3 inches after the fix).
