It is probably Malware slowing down and causing problems on your PC. I recommend using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SUPER Antispyware and Kaspersky Anti-Virus to take care of your problem. If you can't download, install or use any of the 3 within your normal login you must perform the actions within Safe Mode.

I created a detailed tutorial on the above procedures. It is linked below.

Hi Allan,

If you already installed and ran full/thorough scans with Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, SUPERAntiSpyware and Kaspersky Anti-Virus and all of them gave you a clean bill of health then it probably could be one other thing, a program system conflict.

- Use the free Revo Uninstaller to thoroughly uninstall any program on your PC that you do not recognize or do not use. Here is a Revo Uninstaller tutorial in case you need it. http://www.cleartechinfo.com/Learn-How-To-Uninstall-Software-Windows-Revo-Uninstaller

- Next, run CCleaner again to make sure everything is cleaned up after the uninstall.

- Restart your PC.

- Last, to make sure no program is automatically starting up when Windows starts if it does not need to. You need to go into the MSConfig menu to disable programs from automatically starting. I created a tutorial for this. http://www.cleartechinfo.com/How-To-Prevent-Programs-Starting-Windows-Starts-Using-MSConfig

- Restart your PC again and see what happens.
