I have a Windows 7 laptop (brought it couple months ago), right? I installed TeamViewer on both of our computers. I want to talk to my little sister with the voice over IP, but every time I do so, my laptop's microphone is keep on making this weird static sound (repeatedly). How do I fix this? So it wont make after effect sounds, if you know what I mean.

On the Bottom-Right side of the laptop screen there is a miniature icon for Sound settings. Click that and open it up (Note: on some laptops I have worked on there are 2 icons for sound settings).
Within that menu is a setting for the Mic. Try messing around with those settings.
