when i boot my desktop it sometimes (not all the time) loads with the graphics pixelated and looks very weird, i know its not the monitor cos i attached it to my laptop, any ideas anyone, oh i checked the graphics card and it says it is working properly.

The drivers on your graphics card might need to be updated. There are hundreds of them out there so I have no idea which one you have.

Test your PC at this site. It will test it for game compatibility but never mind that. The test will tell you the exact graphics card you have. Please come back and tell us what you have.
