hey there, im new to the site and not sure if im in right place to ask for some help if not can som1 direct me? thanks
my problem:
im a huge gamer and i recently got into Rift, but my gt 9500 wont work for it that well so we went out and bought new gtx 550 ti hower the first day i aalready had problems.  randomly the screen would get chopped up into small and wierd collord squares and then turn my computer off.  during the restart my whole screen would have this horizontal white lines that just wont go away.
here are my comp specs:
Processor:    i5    750 @2.67GHz
RAM:            4GB
                    64-bit OS
Power box:    700w

Very nice graphics card! 
The Intel Core i5-750 2.67 GHz and 4 GB of RAM definitely pass the minimum system requirements for Rift.

Definitely download and install the latest graphics drivers for your brand new GTX 550ti. Whenever I buy a new card I usually throw away the driver CD and install the latest drivers from nVidia’s site.
