Joey can you tell me if this is good?! laptop for gaming :

- AMD Turion 64 X2 RM-70 2GHz(processor)
-4 GB DDR2 SDRAM (RAM)
-500 GB HDD (hard drive)
-Fast ethernet, wifi bluetooth
-Widnwos vista home premium 64 bit
-1 year warranty
-Free setup
-Free programming
 all that for 1220,39$ is it great?

Sorry, that is not a good gaming laptop. The Turion CPUs are not good for gaming and also that spec sheet does not list a graphics card so that means it probably has a cheap integrated video card that is not good for games.

nVidia cards just like ATI and every other company out there are not all perfect. It doesn't matter if it is nVidia or ATI, there are defective cards out there from everyone.

For the past 10 years all I use are nVidia cards. In the past 10 years if anybody asked me what video card to buy I always had them buy an nVidia card. I have never heard of any nVidia card frying or catching on fire in any way.

To answer your other question, the ATI RADEON HD 3200 video card is the equivalent to the following nVidia video cards...

FX 5900, FX 5900 Ultra, FX 5950 Ultra, 6600 (128-bit), Go 6800 (128-bit)
