How do i know if my GPU is burned.
I removed the heatsink of my video card to check if the GPU is already burned.
I did'nt see any indications of a burned chip. But i think there something wrong.
I'm not a computer technician myself so i dont know how to determine what is burned and what is not. Need help..

Hello,

What makes you think it is burned? What happened that made you want to take it out of your PC and remove the heat sink?

In the past few months while I was playing modern Warfare 2 the resolution was great. There was no slo-mo. Even if I adjust the graphics setting to maximum. It runs very well. Lately, when I played again. I observed that when playing MW2 it freezes, the movement of the mouse is very slow, the resolution was not the same as it was. I adjusted my graphics setting to low. The apps run smoothly but when I set the graphics to max, the problem occured again. I visited a few website concerning on video card probs but it did'nt helped me a lot. I brought my pc to the dealer for it was still under warranty but it appeared to them that there was no error on my system. I reformatted my whole system doubting it was a malware problem. But when I installed the apps the problem occured again. A friend of mine suggested to replace my video card but i'm still not sure if my video card is already burned.  Cry

hrmm. I never heard of any 9400 GTs having any issues. You stumped me on this one.

In what I said in the other thread you made, definitely upgrade though to something faster like those 2 ATI cards I told you about.
