INCREASE THE EXISTING SCREEN RESOLUTION

Dear formers,

   I have a HP Mini 200 netbook with maximum screen resolution 1024 x 600 (32 bit 60 Hz) specification.  I had installed a software and open it with this netbook and its seems OK. (I used the maximum resolution!)

  Once i click a menu of the software, a long vertical rectangular box appears waiting for me to input some parameters needed to run the applications for me. Unfortunately, I cant see the whole rectangular box and input the whole parameters needed to run the software. I try to move the top of the rectangular box upwards with mouse, but i cannot input the empty boxes while I am moving the the box with a mouse; which can be viewed after moving the rectangular box with the mouse .

  If I could increase the screen resolution of my netbook, maybe the vertical rectangular box can fit the screen of my netbook.

  My question is, are there any means that I can increase the existing screen resolution ?

I used to have a Netbook too. It maxed out at the same resolution. I could do nothing about it.

Since yours is a bit newer it may be different. What operating system are you running? I am guessing "Windows 7 Basic" or maybe some version of Linux?
