Any idea why this is?
I run Vista basic (32 bit) and I have a new Lexmark e260dn printer. It has a duplex feature that I can't get to work and when I was checking the device manager for a problem I see that there is no printer recognized by the DM.

Any idea why this is?

I bought an Epson printer last X-mas and never used it. I guess now is the best time to do so, to help diagnose your problem.  Smiley

After I installed the Printer on my Vista 32-biut PC I checked the Device Manager. It is very odd. I believe in Windows XP it had a special "Printers" or "Printers and Faxes" category. In Vista it does not appear so.

I searched through all the Device Manager categories. I found my printer under the, "Other Devices" group. Yours should be there too.
