Hello, I need to know what other specs you have on your PC, like what Processor, how much RAM, what version of Windows are you running and do you have a Laptop or Desktop. Another thing that would help is to tell me what game are you trying to run.

Before you tell post back with your Laptop/Desktop Windows, Processor and RAM specs try the following…
- Install the latest nVidia GeForce GT 240 drivers from the nVidia site: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-Restart your PC after the drivers are installed
- Fully update Windows. I am not sure what version you have, or maybe you have a Mac? If you don’t know how to update Windows or Mac you can check on YouTube, they have videos that show you how to fully update Windows and Mac.
- After you finished updating your graphs drivers and updating Mac or Windows test out your games again

Hello. Modern Warfare 2 can run on a lot of older 2004/2005 computers. MW3 was programmed to take advantage of the modern processors and graphics cards which are a lot faster than 2004/2005 computers.

The PC you have meets the minimum 2 GB of RAM required to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The graphics card is above the minimum requirements. The problem is definitely the processor. It is below the MW3 minimum system requirements.

You already followed all my instructions above, right? If not then scroll up and follow everything.

- After you have followed my instructions above download and install the free app “Game Booster”. Google search for it

- Run Game Booster then, run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (but do not play it yet)

- Go into the MW3 graphics settings and copy everything you see in my screen shots below
Step 1 http://minus.com/mw3-lowest-settings#1o
Step 2 http://minus.com/mw3-lowest-settings#2

- Save / Apply settings then Play MW3

NOTE: Since the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ processor is below the MW3 minimum system requirements you must run at the bare minimal graphics settings.
