A user asked the following question...

In my case it [the virus] somehow locked all my acess to spybot or malwarebyte, norton..etc and it also start corrupt my bios (graphic card, mb, ram, and even sram from processor) and now i can't even reboot the hard drive(bios corrupt). not to mention reformat and windows reinstallation.

When you 1st power on your computer look at the screen and see what “F” key you need to press in order to get into the bios. Press tap that key repeatedly until you get in there. It is usually the, F1, F2 or Delete key. But I have seen some computers that require you to hit another key. If you cannot get into this and it is that bad you need to reflash your bios. You need to look up how to do it in your manual, or the manufacturer’s website. Please Note: Be careful anytime you flash any motherboard bios and follow all manufacturer instructions precisely. Failing to follow instructions can kill your bios and you will need to purchase a new motherboard.

If you are able to get into the BIOS be sure to go through the BIOS menu it takes you to and search for the, “Boot” or “Startup” options (same thing, different words). Make sure that your CD/DVD-rom is the first item on the list. After this is setup, Save and Exit. Insert your recovery CD/DVD or full version of Windows XP or Vista, whichever one you have. Then restart your computer. Be sure to press, “Any Key” on your keyboard when the screen prompt asks you to. Be patient and follow the on-screen instructions from there.
