Black Ops actually runs fine on this pc!

ati radeon hd 4250
3gb ram

fps goes from 3(no i didn't make a mistake)-35.  75% of the time is about 20-25.

thanks to joey for providing tips on how to increase performance on black ops.  I had to force it to run on 640x480. on 800x600 i get like 5-10 fps.  Along with tips from joey i can run black ops at an average of 25 fps.  Very playable.

If Joey is reading this, I was wondering if you can change other things in the config.cfg like dynamic lights, bullet impact and stuff like that.  I noticed when I am holding a sniper with a scope, the scope shows some reflecting images when you are not zoomed in.  I was also wondering if you can change that also.  Thanks for your help.

Yes, there are a lot more changes you can make that may increase frame rate.

Here are a couple of sites that give you other likes of code to edit I the config.cfg file that may further increase your frame rate.
Please Note: The only tweaks I have tried are the ones in my tutorial. So I have no sure how much the other tweaks speed up your performance, if at all.
