can't play sims medieval

just bought the game yesterday....seemed to install fine. Clicked the green arrow to play and the screen went black....all i can do at that point is shut down the computer?

And its a laptop??? I did run a scan through "can i run it.com",and it said my computer was good to go with the game? I can't even get in to the game to even start to play.....any help out there for me?

You are correct. Your laptop is powerful enough to easily run Sims Medieval. The only thing you have to do is updated the graphics driver to the latest update which will run the newer games like Sims Medieval.
nVidia released an updated driver just a couple of days ago for your specific laptop.

After the driver is installed restart your PC. Then it should play fine.
