When i go to the part web site on hp.com and part HP PartSurfer it says my video card is full featured (Discrete) what dose that mean? can I up grade it? If so to what can I up grade it to?

 here's my info on my laptop

Hi Dan,

If the graphics card is labeled as "discrete" then yes, you can upgrade it. I would call HP sales and ask them what graphics card options they have for your laptop. Make sure to tell them you want something faster or else they will just think your current graphics card died and send you the same model.

If they ask you what graphics card you have installed right now it is an "nVidia GeForce GT 320M" (I just grabbed this info from within the specs you posted above).
They will of course ask for your model number and maybe serial. That info is easy to get, you already posted it.)
