Hello,

Try all of the following steps in the exact order to fix your issue.

Step 1, Fully update Windows 7 via Windows Update. Follow the video tutorial in the article below to learn how to fully update your Windows 7.
http://www.cleartechinfo.com/How-To-Update-Windows-7-Microsoft-Windows-Update

Step 2, Update your graphics card software driver. Download the driver from the link below and install it on your Windows 7 64-bit computer
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.2&lang=us&rev=10.7&ostype=Windows%207%20-%2064-Bit%20Edition

Step 3, Restart your computer

Step 4, Start up Sims 3 and go to the settings menu. Set the resolution to the lowest setting, then set all the other graphics settings to the lowest settings.
Play the game. Does it not freeze after 10 minutes? Can you play 20 minutes? If so then you can now try setting the resolution and other graphic settings a little higher and see how it goes.
