Hello,

The Core i5 CPU and 4 GB of RAM on that laptop are excellent specs for Sims 3 gameplay.

The bottleneck of that system (Sims 3 gameplay-wise) is the integrated/built-in graphics card ("Intel HD Graphics"). At first I thought it was "playable" at the lowest graphics settings. Then I checked out the post below. It seems to not even install correctly. I would not even try it if I were you. The person below seems to have the exact specs as your laptop.

Yea, that was me also... I posted to that article i found, before i realized you have a forum here...

so you're saying with the intel HD graphics card, playing the sims 3 is impossible? **sigh** is there anyway to upgrade this card? anything i can do -- short of buying a new laptop?

Hi Joey, thank you for the advice. The problem is .... when i tried to download it - Intel told me "the driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer" =0( this is SO frustrating!

If it said that then they are pointing you back at your laptop manufacturer. So if it is a Dell you go on the Dell website, if an HP go on the HP website and so on.

You said you have a "DESTINY" laptop. I am not familiar with that?
