Hello.  I was planning on buying the new Alice: Madness Returns, but I dont know how well it will work on my computer.  I dont care if I have to put it on lowest settings or if it lags a little bit.  I just dont want it to lag so much that it is unplayable.

I have been able to play newer games such as: Portal 2 on High settings with some lag at points, Assassin's Creed 2 on lowest settings with a ton of lag, The Sims 3 on medium settings with no lag, and Dungeon Siege 3 on lowest settings with some lag.

My Specs:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit Operating System
CPU: Intel Celeron CPU 925 @ 2.30 GHz
Memory: 3.00 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 221 GB (Internal) + 698 GB (External)
Video Card: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Hello,

Alice will run about the same as Dungeon Siege 3 on low settings. To speed up all your game just a bit try using the free version of “Game Booster”.

Here is a link to Game Booster: http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

Glad my suggestion helped speed up games a bit.

Another free mod you can do to increase overall Windows system speed is to "defragment" your hard drive files. The best free program I know of to day is by a company named Auslogics. I linked the free app below.

There is a chance it will speed up games, at least the initial load up time of the game.
