How To Download The Sims 3 ??

well lk i brought the sims 3 but it wouldn't install
it tells me : this product requires an installed copy of the sims 3
i did not understand !! please help me ?!
the same thing happened with the sims 2

It is because instead of buying the actual game. You bought an extension. I recommend you get it back to the store and get your money back and buy the actual game.

Hi Pamela,

Rafael is 100% right. What you bought is The Sims 3 "expansion pack" or "add-on". It adds extra levels and features to the standard Sims 3 game but it is not the full version of Sims 3.

The only way you can play that Sims 3 expansion pack/add-on is to purchase the full version of Sims 3 and install that full version first.

If you bought it at a store you may try returning it for "Store Credit" and use that to buy the full version of The Sims 3. But I am not sure if they will do that since PC/Mac games are usually not returnable unless they are defective, then your option would be to just get a new copy of the exact game.

You should first check the requirements of this software. It does not make any sense that it must have already installed.
