Hey, atm i'm having a massive problem trying to get rid of some history, i know the basic ways of getting rid of history, but i've done this, and it says there is no history but in the browser and also the google search boxes, its still there, and even the little red cross wont get rid of them individually, i've tried a few different things like emptying 'temp' folders, this is no good, could it have something to do with my Norton internet security center? please help me

I use the free program CCleaner to thoroughly get rid of all history. I created a CCleaner tutorial to show how I use it. It is at the end of the article linked below.

If you used CCleaner like I showed you in the video then the only other thing that it could be is your "Favorites" / "Bookmarks". You must manually Delete all Favorites/Bookmarks one-by-one. Or else they will still show up in history.
