Firefox's Forget About This Site

Whenever I try to delete a website using forget about this site, my computer tends to slow down. Can anyone tell how to overcome this problem?

It is probably due to 2 things...
#1 you have a LOT of browser/web cache, cookies, history stored on your computer. It takes extra time to search for every individual piece of site info when you have a lot of it built up

#2 your PC is defragmented. This makes the process even longer. An analogy is if you went to a library looking for a book right after a large earthquake hit. All books would be on the floor disorganized. It would take a long time to search through all of the mess for your book.


To Fix the Issue and Speed up Your Entire Browsing Experience I highly recommend the following...
#1 Clean up All of your browser cache, cookies, history thoroughly and compact the Firefox databases using the free program called "CCleaner".
