Verify my site

How do I verify my site with Google, Yahoo and bing? What is the verify meta values? I am trying to use Yoast plugin and this is the first thing they ask for.

I am off to a good start right? (lol)

Yes, there is a lot of stuff that goes into having a website
I spent 6+ months just researching various aspects of owning and maintaining a site. I had headaches some days. lol

To verify your site you will need to have a Gmail account. You will link that Gmail account to your website. Then login to this site using your Gmail login info: http://www.google.com/webmasters/
