Hi Everyone, please see if anyone can help. I sometimes try to view videos on streaming sites (like justin.tv and channelsurfing.net) Some links I get both video and audio BUT some links I only get the audio. I view the link through 3 different internet browsers and same results (no videos). So, I went to my secondary pc which is a laptop and I was able to view both video and audio at that same link. I do have both flash players for IE and non IE.. not sure what the problem is.. if anyone can help me it'll be greatly appreciated.

its funny i hear audio but no video.

It is one or a combination of 3 things...
1. Anti-Virus program
2. Firewall program (security software)
3. Strong popup blocker

One or more of the 3 things above is overprotective and selectively blocking video feeds for some reason. I have even had cases where a popup blocker was too strong/protective and blocking media items on pages like video from appearing.

What to do...
The next time this happens turn Off or Exit any Popup blocker, Anti-Virus and Firewall program you have. Then refresh the video page. If it works then you know it is 1 of the 3. From there you have to figure out which one it is by only exiting 1 of them, then refreshing the video page.

.. its very frustrating

I thought that as soon as I started reading this post.  It's rather odd these days to think that some people don't have the Flash plugin.  I've noticed however that Firefox does not always have it pre installed, even when you have already installed it for IE.  You think they would make it easier for users!
