Okay so I've tried cleaning my history, turning off my anti-virus and spy-ware software. I've re-installed firefox and still nothing has worked....My problem is I can log in to any website I want except for a few. Like for example http://www.steampowered.com and http://www.worldofwarcraft.com Nothing is showing up and it gives me the 404 error...any other website is fine...for example Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, Gmail, ect....but for some reason those two websites and some random others it seems i can not accesse help please!

Hello  Smiley

I thought about this one for a while. Now I recall a time when something like this happened to a PC at work. The problem was there was some sort of Malware or Virus messing with the computer. Solution, I scanned it with the 3 programs I use to scan any PC that is infected. The malware/virus was killed after all 3 scans and removals.

The 3 programs I use were SUPERAntiSpyware (free version), Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free version) and Kaspersky (not free but you can get a free trial that will be full version for 30 days). Be sure to run a Full/Thorough scan using each. The quick scans will not work that will and probably will not detect or remove your malware/virus.

A tutorial on how I used them is below.
