Try the following to reset your IP address…
1. With your computer turned ON, Unplug any and all network cables from your router so the only thing left plugged into it is the power cable
2. Restart your computer and leave it on
3. There is a "reset” button somewhere on there. Press and hold it down for about 12 seconds, then let go. You might need a paperclip for this. When this is complete unplug the power cable from your router
4. During this whole time make sure your are disconnected from any Cable/DSL network cables for at least 15 minutes
5. After the 15 minutes are up, plug back everything into your router and then restart your computer once more
6. Go on the Internet and test your IP to see if you have a new one

If you went through all of the steps above and you still have the same IP it is due to 1 or both reasons stated below…
1. Your router may need to reset a different way so my general reset instructions will not work for it. If you do not have the manual, go on Google and do a search for your router manual so you can see how to reset your specific router
2. Being unplugged from your DSL or Cable Internet provider for 15 minutes may not be long enough. Right before you go to sleep at night perform Steps 1-4 (you may turn off your computer before you go to sleep). In the morning finish up with Steps 5 and 6
