I`m creating a new topic as my original post has no reply option--"How to Increase Your Wi-Fi Signal Strength with an Aluminium foil." I found this in google and did what he says and my signal strength has improved to good and very good. Have a look at the video clip. It looks like i don`t have to buy a wireless repeater. It has saved me a lot of money. The signal has to go through two walls and about 30 feet to my computer. Grin

Have a look at this site too--"Boost Your Wireless Signal With a Homemade Wifi Extender".(Video clip). Aluminium foil glued on a template is all that`s needed. (repeater not required). I suppose a template could be made of cardboard or metal what do you think?? I probably mislead Joey regarding a 'repeater". Have a look at Lifehacker.com. (attached). Grin

Good news. I thought you would like to see my latest setup (attached)  thanks to my wife`s expertise. Now my speed is showing from 19.5 to 104 MBPS. Grin

Since your reply on the 13/07/2010 my signal strength has increased, and now i get mainly 'very good and excellent".  Mbps goes to 78-104 at times 130. Grin
