wireless internet connection for Hp mini not found---Lynx OS

  Please help!!! I have a HP mini 1120nr MIE edition running Lynx OS. I can not get that thing to find my wireless router signal and connect to the internet. I have all necessary login info. for my ISP, which is AT&t. I have a Netgear wireless-n 300 modem router. (DGN2200) I am sure that the internet connection and router/modem work because my ASUS laptop connects fine. I am sending this via it, from the same room I am trying to setup HP in. This Lynx system is driving me nuts. I have been unable to find much good support for it. Wish I would have purchased a netbook with Windows on it. I was under the understanding that the Lynx system was very user friendly and easy to use. I disagree...... Please help before I scream. THANKS

I have never used that model of Netbook but there is usually a method to Turn On your wireless on the netbook. Sometimes there is a button or switch somewhere on the netbook. Other times you have to use the FN key and the wireless symbol on the keyboard to turn it on.
