hi joey,im putting xp pro on my laptop.
i have all original drivers from a download site.
the ati graphics drivers/chipset,and display driver wont install,
states i need a standard vga graphics driver first,
display propertys, advanced, tells me i have it.
but still cant install ati.
every site i search, links lead me to windows updates.
updates wont offer me the vga driver.
heres te specs on my lap top.

www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/laptop/7082.htm

im lost,as ive tried driver max, they install it (ATI)  from a choice of downloads i pick.
only 2 tries a day without paid subscription.
this install they give causes a few problems, like crashing, after reboot, screen becomes huge.
im having to run the laptop off a tv as its large enough to read the small writting and small enough to open folders, browsers etc..
i could stick with the original graphics i installed xp pro disc with.
but the image and colours arnt very good.
the laptop is designed for xp home, not pro.
any link offered for the standard avg driver, exept windows updaes would be appreciated.
i want to download the driver, not download a program offering to install or attempt to scan offering a subscription.
also can i use the realtek AC'97 audio driver on my pc,intell pentium 4, 2.50ghz,512mb ram?
its rinning off sound max digital audio, but realtek is better as it offers different equalizer, bass options,
and would be prefered as im running through a stereo for maximum sound quality.
sound max is just stock standard.
thanks.

Grab the ATI graphics driver from the following site: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

See if you can find the specific Realtek driver and software here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
