F8 Key? (Lenovo laptop)

Hi guys I brought a laptop the other day (Lenovo) and I wanted to go on safe mode but I couldn't use F8 it baffled me why! So I went on the net find more info on Lenovo laptops for F8 key some say keep tapping the F8 key straight after the Thinkpad come up, so I did that and still nothing! So I went further in looking on the net. I came across this tip. If any Lenovo laptops owners out there or you've just brought one and you can't get into safe mode here is my tip.

1) Click start

2) At the bottom type in System configuration

3) Go the top of the menu and click on System configuration a little window will come up and then click on Boot and click on the little box to put the tick in and restart your Lenove laptop. Your in safe mode now.

Do the reverse when you want to go marmal mode.
