Some of you will notice a really big difference in speed, like you took it into a computer repair place and paid them $150+ to speed it up for you. The difference in the tutorial below is that all the steps are 100% free. But YOU will have to do it all on your own and it can take up some time.

Follow all the steps in the exact order below...
1. Use the free "IObit Uninstaller" to remove unnecessary and annoying programs. There may be annoying programs, programs you didn't mean to install or programs you never remembered installing. They may be slowing down your computer. Use IObit Uninstaller to remove them.

2. Use the Free Version of "Malwarebytes'  Anti-Malware" to clean up your computer of Malware, Spyware and Adware that your PC may have and you probably do not know about.
Malwarebytes'  Anti-Malware download site: http://www.malwarebytes.org/

3. Use the Free Version of "SuperAntiSpyware" to clean up your computer of Malware, Spyware and Adware that your PC may have and you probably do not know about.
SuperAntiSpyware download site: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
SuperAntiSpyware tutorial I created: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/How-To-Remove-Spyware-Malware-Adware-PC-SUPERAntiSpyware

NOTE: Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware both remove malware, spyware and adware. But sometimes what 1 program does not remove the other one will. So that is why I highly recommend using both.

4. If you have any Anti-Virus software installed on your computer this is the time to run it. Have it perform a Full/Thorough scan of your computer. You may skip this step ONLY if you do not have an anti-virus program currently installed.

5. Prevent programs from starting when Windows starts to take some load off of your CPU and RAM, which will speed up the starting process of your computer as well as other things. Use the built-in Windows "MSConfig" utility to do this.
Here is an MSConfig Windows tutorial that will show you what to do: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/How-To-Prevent-Programs-Starting-Windows-Starts-Using-MSConfig

6. Use the free software "CCleaner" to clean up your computer of extra, unneeded junk.
CCleaner download site: http://www.ccleaner.com/
CCleaner tutorial: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/Learn-How-To-CCleaner-Clean-Optimize-Free-Up-Hard-Drive-Space-Windows
Be sure to use BOTH the "Cleaner" and "Registry" options.

7. Another thing to do to speed up your Internet browsing is to install the "Mozilla Firefox" or "Google Chrome" Internet browser. I read an article recently where Google Chrome won a contest as the overall fastest Internet browser. But I think Firefox is almost as fast and a little more compatible with websites. Try both if you want, they are free.
Mozilla Firefox download: http://www.firefox.com
Google Chrome download: http://www.google.com/chrome

After you download a browser it is important that you install the free Adobe Flash Player on your browser so you can be fully compatible with most Internet sites like YouTube, Facebook and almost all News sites.
Go to this website using Firefox or Chrome to download the Adobe Flash Player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

8. Do this last step right before you go to sleep. Leave your computer on overnight. The reason why is because it might take 5 hours to complete. It is definitely worth it though to increase the speed of your computer.
Use the free software "MyDefrag" to optimize your computer speed.
MyDefrag download: http://www.mydefrag.com
MyDefrag tutorial: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/How-To-Defragment-Computer-Hard-Drive-using-MyDefrag

9. Restart your computer. Then test your computer by going on your favorite websites and using your favorite installed programs. You should notice an increase in speed.

Once you have completed all 9 steps above in the exact order I am almost 100% sure you will have a noticeable speed increase on your computer. For some of you it will be like night and day, your computer will be a LOT faster like when you first bought it Cool
