The only way you can unlock that is to have Admin access. Then you can get into the program. I am not familiar with Babbage Net so I am not sure if there are any special Admin commands to disable it, there might be. Here are alternative options... 1. Delete the whole computer hard drive and install Windows from scratch. With this method you must get a copy of Windows from a friend or buy it from the store. You must make sure to download the "drivers" for your specific laptop and save them to a USB key. To get the drivers you must go on to the manufacturer's website and lookup your model number. So if I have an HP 6730x I have to go onto HP's site and download drivers for an HP 6730x laptop 2. Boot to a USB drive with the new Chromium Zero OS, by Google. Nothing will be erased but you will just have access to the Internet, unrestricted Internet. Here is the Chromium OS website: http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/Here are instructions: http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/wiki/doku.php?id=windows_instructions

...Well to add to the admins response, my sisters both have Babbage Net Laptops. There is no way other than what he described for FULLY unlocking the computer (other than completing your work). You can get use out of the laptop though (such as browsing the web, playing with net cam, etc.). You have to press/hold the window button (the one between the control and alt key or between the fn and alt key depending on the model you have) and the letter u on your keyboard. This should bring up a menu; 1)click help, 2)then options, 3)then home, 4)then help and support. In the search bar, you can look for My computer, My documents, Programs, or whatever you want. Since the computer is not unlocked by the administrator, you have to do this everytime you restart. It sounds like a handful but you will zip through it once you do it the first time. If you have a wireless net connection at home, I suggest you type that in the search bar and get connected to your network first because you probably want to use the net. Even though you can now use your free laptop, finish your work! I completed some of my sisters for her because I heard these can be taken away if you dont do the work by a certain amount of time. Good luck! Let me know if you dont get something.

Click on alt and the letter U. Then click on help and then options. Now click on help and support. Search bar and write explorer. On the write sidebar click on how to use explorer. Click where it says how to open explorer. It opens my documents. Now you have access to anything, but DONT open internet explorer or you will erase your session and you will lose your laptop, Use a portable browser like portable chrome, firefox. blackxter 0wnsss
