Hello,
The Windows Home basic computer, is it XP, Vista or 7?

The problem could be caused by a few things...
Does it do this on every website you try to download something?

Try to download the file I linked below. Tell me what happens.

Malware sometimes causes those problems. Here is how to take care of the problem with 3 free programs. Use them in the exact order they appear. (If you have trouble downloading any of them be sure to speakup and I will host the files on this site for you to download)

--- Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware ---
1. Download and install the free version of Anti-Malware from here http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
2. Install Anti-Malware and run an update
3. Perform a Full/Thorough scan of your entire PC using Anti-Malware
4. Follow all on-screen instructions. If it tells you to restart/reboot your computer do so. When it restarts be sure to boot into Safe Mode with Networking again.

Here is a Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware tutorial: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/Learn-How-To-Remove-AntiVirus-2009-Malware

--- SUPERAntiSpyware ---
1. Download and install the free version of SUPERAntiSpyware from here http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
2. Install SUPERAntiSpyware and run an update
3. Perform a Full/Thorough scan of your entire PC using SUPERAntiSpyware
4. Follow all on-screen instructions. If it tells you to restart/reboot your computer do so. When it restarts be sure to boot into Safe Mode with Networking again.

--- CCleaner ---
1. Download and install the free CCleaner from here http://www.ccleaner.com/download
2. Run CCleaner's "Cleaner" and "Registry" tools/options

You can go into "Safe Mode with Networking" when starting up your PC. Within the tutorial below it shows you how to do that.

May be there is a virus problem with laptop. SO first of all you can start laptop with safe mode and in safe mode you can try to delete that virus. If you can not delete virus then you can purchase genuine antivirus software and then delete that virus from laptop.

It sounds like you have a strong popup blocker or security software that is preventing the download from the Apple site. I have no idea what is inside of your computer but you need to disable any popup blocker, anti-virus, security and firewall software you have. Then try the download again.

I have also downloaded the latest iTunes from Apple and uploaded the files to another site. I am not sure if you have a 32 or 64 bit version of Windows so I uploaded both for you. The links are below.

iTunes 9.1.1 for Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7

iTunes 9.1.1 for Windows (64-bit)
