The one`s you cant see under avgtray are-jusched-ctfmon-cursorfx-googlebar notifier-NMBqmonitor-logitech setpoint-onenote 2007 scre all checked-nvcpl unchecked. I`m on Windows XP Home Edition. Could you say which one`s if any could be unchecked. Thank You.  [img=http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/997/startop.jpg]

Hello terrace, welcome to the site. Thanks a ton for the screen capture it makes things a LOT easier for me.  Grin

You can safely remove the following...
x GrooveMonitor
x NeroCheck
x NBKeyScan
x Google Desktop
x PDVDServ
x Language
x pctsTray
x Reader_sl
x jusched
x ctfmon
x cursorfx
x googlebar notifier
x NMBqmonitor
x onenote 2007

When you restart your computer it should load faster.
NOTE, some items like the GoogleDesktop (maybe you have the GoogleSidebar?) will not load until you double-click it's icon. If you want to get that or anything back just recheck it and restart your computer once more.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.  Smiley

;DHello and thanks again. I unchecked all of those and left Google Desktop, Googlebar notifier and Cursorfx checked. pcts tray came back checked in another box, ctfmon came back checked in another box. Screen shot shows. All below Logitech are unchecked. Cheers Grin [img=http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/5663/againc.jpg] [img=http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/3020/again2.jpg]

Hi terrace,

I did some research on pcts tray and ctfmon.

Do you have Spyware Doctor or Anti-SpyWare installed? It appears that they force "pcts tray" to load no matter what. The only way to remove pcts tray is to uninstall the full software.

ctfmon is a little bit more trickyer. It is associated with MS Office 2003 and 2007, I am not sure which one you have. According to Microsoft it, "..provides text input service support for speech recognition, handwriting recognition, keyboard, translation, and other alternative user input technologies." Here is a Microsoft webpage that will show you how to remove it.
