Hi, great website
I'm wondering why my computer keeps peaking after it boots to 73-84 percent (sometimes higher) each time.
I just got a DVI to USB cable to hook up my 3 monitor (and for Flash or Web Design or Music, Film and editing purposes .. 3 monitors rocks - however the usb has some lag)
I keep unchecking the 'googleupdater' and it keeps coming back in the msconfig startup. I'm using Panda Global 2011, and I don't know about viruses, but I would like to permanently get permanently rid alot of these 'startup' programs I keep finding in the Windows Task Manager Services, because I believe (although I don't even want to think about it) - it could be an illusion, but I could have sworn when I was shutting down this computer, I saw a BSOD.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
T

Hello  Smiley

RAM usually gets used a lot during a computer’s start because a lot of different processes and sometimes programs are trying to load at once. It should calm down after a minute or 2.

You can use MSConfig to uncheck startup items like you said. Or you can use a free program called “CCleaner”. CCleaner has a utility that basically does the same thing as MSConfig but it also gives you an option to Delete startup entries.

Here is a tutorial I created on CCleaner
