Hi Jason Smiley

There are a few models of PCs that have the Windows XP recovery cd info hidden somewhere on the computer.
If your PC is one of these models, this is a way of recovering/reinstalling Windows XP...
1. Shut down the PC. Wait a few seconds. Star up the PC.
2. Look at all of the messages on the screen VERY closely
3. Do any of the messages tell you to Press an F-key to Recover Windows?

Just like you normally turn the compute off.

Start it like you normally turn the computer on.

If the startup screen when the computer turns on does not say anything you have 3 options...

1. Call up or get in touch with Acer. Ask them if they can send you a Windows CD for your computer. They may charge you a small fee

2. If Acer does not offer any Windows CD or recovery CD replacements you have to purchase Windows XP online. You can try Amazon.com for that

3. If you want to go the 100% free route you can install Linux. Just use a friend or family members computer to download linux and burn it onto a CD. Install that on your computer instead
