when it boots up I get these two error messages every time when signing in:
AirGCFG.exe cannot initialize wlanapi.dll and another one

hello smc I would like to let you know that I did a little research on your issue and i think its all related to one problem and that concerns your wireless card that you added to your computer. I gave all my info to Joey for review. I think it would be a good idea if you could tell us what model is the computer and the wireless card in order to give you a more direct solution.

What type of CD or DVD did you use to install Windows XP on the computer? Was it a restore CD from another computer, maybe a stand-alone CD that was purchased at the store or a custom made Windows XP CD? If it is a Windows XP restore CD from another computer it would not be fully compatible and more than likely give you errors if it works at all.

Assuming Windows XP installed correctly on the computer and the only problem is your DLink network card or equipment here is a solution…
Go to: http://support.dlink.com/downloads/ and download the latest drivers for your DLink network card or other DLink network equipment you may have. I am not sure which model you have since DLink has produced hundreds of network items. You just have to look for your model number and match it up on the website.
