Hi,
Please can someone help me - i am an administrator on my toshiba laptop, with Vista, and i'm trying to uninstall programs to free up some memory space, but everytime i try (definitely doing this bit right!) i get a message:
"Error 1730.  You must be an administrator to remove this application.  To remove this application, you can log on as an administrator or contact you technical support roup for assistance"
i have tried with various programs - eg Google Earth.

Please help me!

Hello,

That is a glitch in Vista. The way you solve the problem is to Disable the Vista UAC, then restart your computer. Log into the same Admin account and uninstall what you want.
