No. You would have to make your account an Admin account in order for you to do that.

The only other way would be to log into one one of the Admin accounts within XP. I detailed how to access an Admin account without knowing the password. I created it for all the people who forget their password.

1st method:

1. Go to your start menu>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt
2. Right-click on command prompt, and choose run as administrator, hit continue
3. type net users Administrator /active:yes

this will create a new administrator account. to disable, type net users Administrator /active:no

but however your running windows xp, so the default account is the built in administrator account, so you should probably just type in: net users Administrator /active:no, and it will disable it.

2nd method:

You can get the passwords to the account. Here are some programs that work really well.

http://www.piotrbania.com/all/kon-boot/

I have tried konboot before, and it works really well. All you need to do is burn it to a cd. Boot off the cd using F12 or whatever it is. and select cd. Select Konboot a screen should pop up hit any key to advance, and when all is done and well, Konboot should take you to the logon screen with a new administrator account enabled.

Katana:

http://www.hackfromacave.com/katana.html

Katana is the same as Konboot, except you boot off your flashdrive instead of cd.

Ophcrack:

http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php

ophcrack is a nifty little tool that you burn to a cd, and boot off it. Follow the instructions, and in the end Ophcrack should return the passwords of all the accounts on your computer, including your dad's.

When downloading these, mcafee might detect that they are a virus, but they are not. It's just because they are listed under hacking tools in the virus definition database.
