Bullguard Anti virus has failed me once again,i already didnt trust the 09 version of bullguard but decided to try the 2010 version seeing as i already had a paid subscription.around 6 hours prior to writting this post,i noticed a new temp file was being added to my pc,this was immediately quarantined.the problem is that this temp file is being used by every website, including google homepage, youtube, yahoo, cleartechinfo and Evey other site i could name but wont as this post isnt a warning of sus**cious sites, rather a huge dissapointment regarding a really crap antivirus. within 20 minutes i had 32 quarantined virus, all with the same file name. i tried contacting bullguard support several times but i was not answered. ether there busy with thousands or millions of people like myself,or they no longer offer any decent support. both explorer and firefox would freeze trying to load any new tabs or windows, the mouse would also freeze, leaving me to do a forced crash of my pc. system restore would not work as i had a frozen desktop, another force crash was necessary. the fact that win7 was terminated unexpectedly left me to try F8(safe mode),restore to earlyer configuration, after 30minutes with starring at a bunch of files,i finally made it to my,login screen. after entering my password my desktop had become frozen again. another force crash, and went back to do a repair, this time choosing to system restore. Finlay my pc was restored to yesterday and have since dissabled BullGuard and the pc is working fine again. both explorer and firefox work well again also. i have just done a scan with BullGuard, before i uninstall the program once and for all. so the tally now stands at 32virus,2 cookies. they are ga[1].js(adware smartad.D) BS.serving-Sys and Doubleclick. im aware that double click is used as a Cookie on many sites and is usually harmless. however the corruptions are quite evedent. my next job will be to use joeys spy/mal/virus technique. then copy all my data onto discs as all my pc's,external hard drive, usb's have previous backups on them already. i have finally become fedup with BullGuard antivirus and would strongly oppose anybody use it,there is many free antivirus's out there that do a better job.
