infected on it last night. My defender would not destroy them, so I disconnected from the internet, went into safe mode and saved my family and friends pictures and then inserted the factory discs in and reset the computer back to the original factory settings. I scanned it several times and it comes up fine - should be be okay to use again?
Is my computer safe to use again? had trojans and a keylogger, the pc spy or the web filter, pls help me!

if you have factory restored or reformatted you will have deleted/wiped out any personal files, programs, virus',key loggers etc... and your computer will be fine now.
i suggest installing the security programs joey recommends.

kaspersky (30 day trial) this detects and removes keylogging software and warns you about installing such things.also has a virtual keyboard to prevent keylogging when signing into accounts.

antimalwarebytes (free version)

superantispyware (free version)

only run one security program at a time.
make kaspersky the priority security tool (antivirus).

after the 30 day trial you can uninstall kaspersky using revo uninstaller (advance method) also delete all registry files and program folders. then restart your computer and insatll a different 30 day trial of kaspersky again.

kaspersky has a few different antivirus programs and you can actualy get about 4 months of trials with out costing anything.
