hi joey,
just been reading linux forum.
re- antivirus.  every body advises not to bother with any.
so what if i was to download something,like a file for instance.
was infected, and sent someone whos running windows that file,
only to have there system corrupted by my ignorance.
linux users seem fine,but should they protect themselves for the sake of others?

I understand what you mean. The virus will not affect your Linux PC but if you send and infected file to a friend with a Windows PC it will infect them.

I found this on the net. It is a free anti-virus for Linux.
